Automation Engineering Manager — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

Company: ConsultANZ is seeking an Automation Engineering Manager in Brisbane to oversee an industrial chilling and freezing system solutions project for the food industry. Main Duties: Lead the design, planning, construction, and commissioning phases of automation projects. Allocate 60% of your time to team management and project oversight, with 40% hands-on technical tasks related to automation and control systems. Manage a team of 7 professionals, ensuring high-performance delivery. Undertake monthly business trips (4 days) to client sites. Requirements: 10 years of experience as an Automation Control System Engineer in the chilling, freezing, or automation environmental industry. At least 5 years of team management experience, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering. Proficiency in PLC and SCADA programming (Allen Bradley, RSLogix, Factory Talk View, or Ignition SCADA). Solid understanding of VSD/Servo Drives (Allen Bradley PowerFlex and SEW). A strong commitment to client satisfaction and delivering high-quality results.
