About the role: As a Planit Automation Test Engineer you will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm of the testing activities at a project level, and be involved in the planning, monitoring and control of the testing activities to a high standard of quality across single/multiple clients. You will work with our client on Automation projects, so we are looking for Java/Selenium experience. You will be joining our exceptionally talented team, we can give you variety, flexibility, opportunities while supporting our clients on their quality assurance journey. We have a great client list – you won’t be bored here Key Responsibilities: You will be involved with Test Planning, Analysis, Design, Estimation, Execution, Defect Management and Reporting. The role will see you performing the usual testing activities day to day to test the behaviour, functionality and integrity of software programs. Review requirements for testability Consult with clients for user and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient Determine test conditions/ test objectives Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions Execute test cases and report results Raise and close defects when necessary Report results periodically to managers across the business Essential Skills and Experience: Hands on experience in Automation Testing platforms covering all areas of SDLC/STLC Java/Selenium/Cucumber (essential) API Testing Manage the defect process as required Skills across numerous test levels, including System, UAT and SIT Able to work within a team responsible for the analysis and planning of large-scale projects Ability to provide estimates for test resources (time, people, environments etc.) and create reports Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities Culture & Benefits: We believe in fostering a culture where our people are rewarded for the work they do and looked after from their first day at Planit With us you'll experience: Opportunities to grow your skillsby taking advantage of a world class training and development program.
