About the Role: Based in Forestville in Adelaide, this is an opportunity to make a big impact working for a successful, market leading IT Service Provider. This role maintains a focus working on overcoming general I.T. issues, facilitate change and providing solutions for our managed clients. As it is a generalist support role, it will require knowledge of and ability to fault-find over our core supported technology stack. You will work with a collaborative team of professionals. This position operates within the annuity department of our Services Team to provide excellent customer service in a variety of IT requirements, from general support through to opportunities for consulting over all the technologies Subnet employs for solutions. What you’ll be doing: Creation and support of a wide range of general I.T solutions over Subnets client base. Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical faults over our supported technology stack to identify and diagnose issues logically by either telephone, email, chat, script, remote login or onsite where applicable. Act as an internal escalation point within the Services Annuity Team. Provide an excellent level of customer service to our internal and external customers by providing the appropriate support response, friendly communication and technical knowledge. Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of client infrastructure environments. Prioritise and manage workload efficiently, effectively, working autonomously and as a part of a team ensuring SLA’s, KPIs and CSAT targets are met. Train and mentor junior staff via service ticket escalation and in-house training sessions. Maintaining documentation. Maintain a working knowledge of emerging information technologies, specifically those utilised in the Managed Services space. What you’ll bring to us: This generalist role requires previous experience implementing, fault-finding and supporting a range of technologies commonly used in client environments including Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune including Autopilot, Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktop/PVS/ShareFile, Windows Server, Entra ID /AD, Enterprise Server hardware, backup storage and virtualisation technologies (Lenovo/IBM, HPe, VMWare, Hyper-V, Veeam etc). Wired/Wireless networks and Next Gen Firewalls (Fortinet, Aruba, Cisco etc) as well as Cyber security tools and frameworks. Demonstrated experience providing all levels of general support for peers and clients in proactive and reactive environments. Strong ability to quickly identify and diagnose issues logically in a short time frame with excellent problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Superior interpersonal skills particularly around client management and the ability to take ownership of client issues. Positive attitude and a willingness to develop your technical skills to progress your professional career. A demonstrated attitude of ownership and accountability. Previous experience working for an MSP is highly desirable.
