Senior Engineer – Stormwater Infrastructure (Technical) Location: Strathpine, QLD Contract: Until 30 June 2025 (with possibility of extension) Hours Per Week: 36.25 Hourly Rate: $54.05 Super Are you an experienced Civil or Environmental Engineer with expertise in stormwater infrastructure? We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Stormwater Infrastructure (Technical) to provide expert engineering advice and lead investigations into complex drainage, flood, and water quality issues. Key Responsibilities: Act as a technical lead, providing specialist advice on stormwater, drainage, and flood management. Conduct complex investigations and prepare technical reports with actionable recommendations. Coordinate and manage design studies for stormwater infrastructure improvements. Oversee the work of specialist consultants and ensure project outcomes are met. Develop preliminary designs and cost estimates for stormwater and drainage projects. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver stormwater and waterway infrastructure solutions. Lead stormwater design investigations and project manage designs delivered by consultants. About You: Strong knowledge and experience in stormwater infrastructure management, planning, and design. Proven ability to conduct and present complex technical investigations. Excellent communication skills to engage with a range of stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive positive outcomes. Qualifications & Requirements: Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent). Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
