Senior Control Systems Engineer Sydney Based Mining Project $140K - $170K plus super The Company Paragon Talent Solutions has been engaged to to assist a leading Australian owned Industrial solutions organisation who provide their Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems services to a range of industries. It’s a particularly exciting time for our client who is now seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer who has in-depth experience of FactoryTalk, FactoryTalk Historian and ControlLogix. This is a permanent position to be based in Sydney and the successful candidate will be working on a north American based mining project. The Position As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for: Taking ownership of the control systems element of the project Producing functional designs, programming and setting up historians to a high standard Configuring and commissioning of control systems at the latter stages of the project Interpreting P&ID’s Producing and completing documentation Implement the relevant network and communication protocols including Modbus and Profibus Working closely with other disciplines including mechanical, process engineers etc This is an exciting period for my client who is currently very busy. This position would suit a Senior Control Systems Engineer who is highly proficient with the Rockwell suite of products, mainly FactoryTalk, FactoryTalk Historian and ControlLogix. It’s anticipated that this mining project with have a duration of 2-3 years attached to it and you will need to be able to hit the ground running and work autonomously as well as work well within a team.
