Training & Career Development The Role You will be responsible for the upkeep, development & maintenance of the Windows predominantly (& some Linux) infrastructure, including networks, AWS & GCP cloud, backup solutions and monitoring and alerting systems. You will work & deliver on projects and act as an escalation point for cloud and infrastructure related issues, incidents, and requests. About you: Stand out candidates will come from an ecommerce / On-Line platform type organisation where you have been involved in building backend systems to run online. A focus on Cloud & System Engineering (support application deployment teams (all bespoke & online systems) and configuration), cloud integration and deployment, and corporate tech (Active directory) will stand out Skills Requirements: Good experience of managing infrastructure services in AWS or GCP Cloud environments (admin, automated deployments, monitoring, security etc) Experience Windows based servers. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC tools) - such as: Cloud Formation, Terraform, ARM, AWS CDK etc. Experience with coding/scripting such as: PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar. VMWare Good Understanding of TCP/IP networking stack and services. Experience in O365, Azure and general Microsoft (AAD, Exchange online, SharePoint etc) General interest and basic understanding of cyber security practices and products. GCVE - major advantage - full training provided. Linux advantageous - not essential & training provided.
