Centorrino Technologies are predominately a Managed Services Provider, as we've grown we have built our own IAAS platform spanning multiple datacenters and states in order to better support our client's needs. The Infrastructure Team own and manage this private cloud platform, ancillary services, and supporting network. The successful applicant will be someone who takes ownership of the platform, driving it’s constant improvement, and taking pride in their work. Requirements What You'll Do: Ownership of the multitenant VMWare private cloud platform, and it’s availability. Day to day management, including security patching and software updates. Management of the ancillary services - Veeam Backup, Monitoring, Hardware, etc. Occasional datacenter work for hardware upgrades/maintenance. Identifying problems and areas for improvement, investigating the options to resolve/improve. Planning and implementing projects for improvement, or capability expansion. Exploring new technologies that could benefit the business or platform Security-first thinking, always considering the implications of any work or change . Implement and enforce security best practices to protect client systems and data. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client requirements. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations. Providing guidance to other team members to ensure the organisations overall technical competency and knowledge. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations. Collaborate with other departments to deliver the best quality solutions What you'll bring: Must be able and willing to obtain an NV1 security clearance (requires Australian Citizenship) Extensive experience in the systems space, preferably in a similar multi-tenant IAAS environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to IT and non-IT stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines. Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to prioritise accordingly. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks. Your approach to technology, and your work ethic, must align with with the team Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to IT and non-IT stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual rigor and curiosity, and ability to work as part of a team Must-have experience with the following technologies: VMWare ESXi, vSphere Linux operating systems / applications; Specifically Debian/Ubuntu.
