Job Description The Company: A dynamic and growing Managed Service Provider company speciali s ing in providing comprehensive IT support to Australian businesses across various sectors, including Legal, Accounting & Finance, Insurance, Human Resources, Business Management, Medical & Health, Property, and Resources. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 3 Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing escalated technical support and resolving complex issues for our small to medium-business clients. We need a candidate with a broad range of skills and a proven ability to act as the last line of defence , ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional problem-solving and communication. Ideally, you will have prior experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert-level technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex IT issues, including P1 incidents. Serve as the final escalation point for technical problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Configure, administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune environments. Manage and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers. Implement and manage virtualized environments, with a strong preference for VMware experience. Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments. Ensure client satisfaction through clear, concise, and professional communication. Document technical solutions and procedures. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members. Work proactively to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact clients. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Level 3 Systems Engineer. Proven experience working in an MSP environment is highly desirable. Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune administration. Extensive experience with networking, including firewall configuration and troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and hypervisor technologies, particularly VMware. Proficiency in administering Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
