If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining and mobilising our Data Engineering strategy across Paramount ANZs engineering platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our Commercial strategy, delivering automation, implementing quality assurance measures, and championing continuous improvement within the Data Engineering workstream. Key Responsibilities Your role will include, but is not limited to: - Designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to optimise data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources. - Developing automation pipelines to facilitate seamless deployment and automated testing. - Creating ETL processes to support data monetisation, modelling, mining, and dashboard production. - Managing data ingestion, matching, and orchestration to enhance campaign and analytical capabilities. - Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to understand and meet their data needs. - Adapting and evolving with the business and technology landscape. - Ensuring compliance with Paramounts Global Business Conduct Statement (BCS), internal policies, and relevant regulatory requirements. About You We are looking for a passionate and experienced data professional with: Education & Qualifications: - A degree in Computer Science (preferred), Applied Mathematics, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field with a computing focus. Experience & Expertise: - 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, engaging in the full lifecycle of scalable data management systems. - Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deployment, management, and optimisation. - Strong proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing, ETL pipeline development, and real-time data integration. - Experience setting up and managing Data Clean Rooms to ensure secure and compliant data sharing. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Git . - Experience working with structured and semi-structured data files. - Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment. - Excellent stakeholder management capabilities. - A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. Bonus Points: While not essential, the following will be highly regarded: - Previous experience in the media industry. - AWS & Snowflake certifications.
