The Role: Use your experience of power system analysis and electrical design to deliver robust and cost effective designs for projects across a range of sectors. Reporting to the Engineering Manager this is a comprehensive and varied role: Undertake LV/MV electrical distribution design and power system analysis including load flow, voltage drop, fault current, arc flash and protection coordination. Plan, organise and conduct full reviews of design, documentation and design changes. Ensure adherence to project scope, Australian standards, regulatory, health, safety and environmental requirements. Mentor and guide team members, encourage collaboration and continuous learning and improvement. Skills & Experience: Degree qualified with RPEQ or eligibility to obtain. Solid hands on design experience and proficiency with Power Simulation software. Ability to take ownership of projects, determine scope and requirements from the outset through the whole process. Solid electrical engineering experience from any background including construction, utilities, building services, industrial manufacturing or renewables industries.
