Civil Engineer – Renewables We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team, focusing on civil projects for solar farms and renewable energy initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering tasks that support the development of solar energy facilities. Key Responsibilities Design & Planning: Develop and review civil engineering designs for solar farm projects, including site grading, drainage, and access road construction. Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of civil components in solar projects. Site Assessment: Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to determine optimal project locations and assess environmental impacts. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure integrated project delivery. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and constructions comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements. Documentation: Prepare technical reports, design specifications, and project documentation for stakeholders and regulatory agencies. Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in civil engineering design, particularly in renewable energy or solar projects. Strong understanding of site development processes and environmental regulations. Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
