As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work across web and mobile platforms to deliver performant, maintainable, and secure features. You’ll help shape our frontend architecture, collaborate on new product experiences, and elevate how care is coordinated across the country. What You’ll Do • Design, build and maintain scalable frontend applications using React, TypeScript and Next.js • Deliver cross-platform mobile features using React Native and companion frameworks • Translate user stories and functional requirements into reusable, testable components • Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs • Collaborate with design and UX to meet accessibility and usability standards (WCAG) • Contribute to component libraries, design systems, and shared codebases • Write automated tests and support CI/CD across frontend apps • Review code and mentor junior engineers to uplift frontend capability • Optimise app performance, resource use and security • Participate in technical architecture and system design discussions How You’ll Make an Impact • Build consistent, accessible user interfaces that scale • Deliver features that improve care coordination and daily decision-making • Strengthen engineering capability through mentoring and code quality • Accelerate release cycles with reliable testing and CI practices • Shape user experiences through collaboration with design and product About You Essential experience • 7 years in frontend or full-stack development • Proficient in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Next.js • Experienced with React Native for iOS/Android delivery • Strong understanding of REST/GraphQL and API integration • Familiar with Agile delivery environments and Git workflows • Committed to accessibility, performance and inclusive design • Able to mentor developers and champion code quality • Knowledgeable in Jest, Cypress or Playwright for frontend testing Desirable • Exposure to health, aged care or regulated environments • Experience with serverless tech (.NET, Node.js, Azure Functions) • Familiar with Azure or AWS tools (S3, Cognito, Amplify, App Services) • Background in WCAG compliance and usability testing • Interest in AI-powered features and frontend integration with ML outputs Life at Trilogy Care We’re creating software that supports real people doing real work.
