DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role As a Fortinet Presales Solutions Engineer at NEXTGEN , you’ll play a key role in driving the adoption of Fortinet solutions across our reseller network. You’ll collaborate with sales teams, conduct POCs and demos , and provide expert technical guidance to partners. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing role and enjoys staying ahead of the latest cybersecurity trends . ​ This role will report to the Technical Director As the Solutions Engineer , you will: ​ To provide Pre-Sales support (presentations, demos, POCs, proposal writing, compliance table and product briefings) through the sales process to NEXTGEN reseller base across the Fortinet product portfolio. Work closely with the Fortinet Technical Director to achieve goals and KPIs. Presales – Assist sales team with scoping solutions, creating BoMs and providing correct part numbers, responding to tenders, performing predictive site surveys for Wireless deployments, keeping up to date with new products, changes to pricelists, support options. Providing post-Sales Support where required. Ability to deliver Professional Services scoping and SOW. Work closely with NEXTGEN sales team in the planning of meetings and activities. ​ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you The ideal Solutions Engineer : ​ B.Sc. / B. Tech /BCA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. 3-4 years working experience in enterprise technical presales capacity. In-depth knowledge of Fortigate Firewalls and associated solutions. NSE4 and above certification status. Delivering professional services is highly recommended.
