We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our IT Platform Engineering team until 30th June 2026. Reporting to the DevOps Team Lead, you will build and maintain DevOps solutions to meet high standards of performance, stability, reliability, and security. About the role Build, optimise, and maintain DevOps platform capabilities and CI/CD release pipelines, ensuring solutions remain relevant and comply with the Bank’s IT controls, policies, and standards Automate, enhance and create new DevOps frameworks and patterns Remediate risks, security vulnerabilities, and maintain DevOps security configuration Maintain a working knowledge of the IT Infrastructure platforms, tools, and software packages used Work collaboratively with stakeholders to refine business and IT requirements Advocate the development, design, and delivery of DevOps practices to improve IT Infrastructure operational efficiency, security, and stability Maintain technical documentation and associated knowledge sources About you You have at least 4 years hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, infrastructure automation operations or development Must have experience in technical IT infrastructure engineering in a hybrid Azure Cloud and on-premise environment, preferably within Banking and Government Must have experience in developing and maintaining DevOps solutions and CI/CD release pipelines with Azure DevOps Services, Artifactory, and preferably Jenkins, Terraform Cloud, or Maven Must have hands-on development/automation experience with at least two of the following languages - PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript, YAML. Working knowledge of CI/CD patterns using tools such as Git, Jira Experience with integrating security tools and processes with DevOps solutions is preferred Experience with working knowledge of either Java or .Net is preferred.
