This is a 12-months fixed term contract located in North Sydney. About the Role The role will support the Asset Class Manager – Facilities to meet operating parameters and achieve set KPI’s associated with the Facilities Asset Class that contribute to asset and public safety, reliability, supply capacity, integrity and life cycle costs. This will be achieved through: - Asset Performance and Integrity Reviews that validates performance, condition and control effectiveness including both standing and emerging risks, and opportunities. - Opportunity Briefs that clearly define problems or opportunities. - Options Assessments that clearly identify prudent options that address defined problems or opportunities. - Scope of Works that clearly communicates detailed engineering requirements to enable the delivery of the Capital and Operating Program - Front End Engineering Design and Project Support that provides technical expertise to facilitate the efficient delivery of the capital program of works. - Maintenance of all asset class related documentation and drawings to support on-going management and compliance obligations. You will be Involved in the production of medium to long term (2-10 year) asset management strategy and plans of the Facilities asset class with the aim of balancing risk against expenditure. The primary scope of the role includes AS2885 high-pressure facilities with a focus on the Electrical, Instrumentation and Control components. The role also requires identifying key stakeholders and collaborate with them to achieve the above purpose. About You - Tertiary Qualifications and/or higher in Engineering preferable within Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls, or Chemical or Mechanical engineering. - Basic understanding of the technical regulatory framework, AS2885, AS3000, and the relationship to asset management - Good understanding of business case justification processes - Experience in delivery of asset management processes and practices - Working experience of transmission pipelines and/or gas distribution networks - Curious, analytical, logical and problem-solving mindset and skills - Working understanding of risk assessment & management techniques - Demonstrated communication and presentation skills - Technical and/or commercial experience in gas, energy or industrial works an advantage If you don’t think you're a perfect fit, you should still sign up to Hatch and create a profile, we'll match you to other roles that suit your profile.
