Tell me about this role: We are looking for Deputy Senior Design Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be Brisbane based, supporting the assurance and verification of the software products related to the ARH. What will I be doing day to day? Investigate aerospace software engineering concepts Deliver and manage software engineering specifications and resources in support of Defence capability lifecycle Investigate, analyse and report on software engineering defects and requirements Undertake continuous improvement, with the ability to stay up-to-date on the latest software releases, updates, and best practices Create and maintain technical documentation, including the Flight manual and technical note Liaise with stakeholders to identify Issues and implement issue resolution What sort of skills do I need? Tertiary qualifications in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering or related field Experience in Defence Aerospace related projects Strong communication skills Process orientated with good attention to detail Australian citizenship and a minimum NV1 security clearance What’s in it for me?
