Our Engineering Services team at Eagle Farm, Brisbane is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team. The primary objective of this role is to maximise plant availability and productivity by ensuring that Production Systems are programmed and operated reliably and safely. These systems are critical to G James’ manufacturing facilities and support our 24-hour operations. The Benefits This is a full time / permanent position Competitive salary package on offer laptop mobile Health insurance benefits - 7% discount with BUPA Access to Employee Assistant Program - TELUS Health Perfect opportunity for the right candidate to develop within our stable, family owned company A collaborative and supportive work environment where everyone has the chance to make a difference The Role Design, document, simulate, commission and support production systems Trouble shooting and dignosis of production systems problems and provide solutions Liaise with automation team to maintain PLC communication issues and computer systems functions and integration Liaise with ICT derpartment to ensure appropriate use, segregation and security for new and modified servers Maintain documentation for Production Systems and keep files up to date Undertake modifications and design initiatives on production equipment and Networks within the company facility. The Person Degree in Information Technology / Software Engineering with minimum three years' experience in software systems with manufacturing facility Rockwell PLC knowledge preferable Experience with different databases Oracle SQL / MSSQL Experience with different software systems JAVA, HTML, REStful web services Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
