The Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team in either Brisbane or Sydney. This role will be involved in the design, assessment, and delivery of bridge and viaduct projects, contributing to significant infrastructure developments across the region. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in structural engineering principles, a passion for bridge engineering, and a desire to develop their skills in design, inspection, and digital engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis and design of bridge and viaduct structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Utilize structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, RM Bridge) to model and analyze bridge structures. Conduct condition inspections of bridges (Level 2 Inspector) to assess structural integrity and identify maintenance or rehabilitation needs. Assist in the delivery of bridge projects, supporting senior engineers in managing project scope, schedule, and budget. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and bridge design concepts. Experience in bridge inspection and Level 2 Inspector certification is desirable. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, RM Bridge). Experience in structural analysis and design. Experience with digital engineering tools, including BIM software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D), is desirable.
