Electrical Engineer — Newcastle Area, Newcastle Region

About the role This is real work with real outcomes. Key duties: • Electrical Design engineering and project implementation work • Determine customers requirement & defines design objectives in consultation, undertaking research, analysing functional requirements • Supervision and monitoring of existing electrical/ electronic plant & equipment and new projects • Monitors the installation and testing of design and finished products/ work • Adherence to Business plan and compliance policies • Maintain awareness and ensures compliance to Equal Employment Opportunities, Environmental, Quality & Safety policies, procedures, and all other relevant documents of the company You are an innovative and proactive Electrical Engineer, who is safety focused and collaborative in your approach. Ideally you will have: • Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electronics minimum qualification • Conversant with Omron, Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC’s • Develop ‘smart’ PLC Programming Logic • Conversant with WONDERWARE-SCADA system would be highly regarded • Auto CAD experience for drawing and updating electrical schematics • Make recommendations on complex and technical matters • Communicate technical advice to other membersKey Benefits Below are some of our key central benefits that are available to all employees.
