Basic Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in a large-scale network environment -1 years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale data center and/or WAN network environments. -1 years Unix/Linux command line experience Preferred Qualifications -Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Server Load Balancing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Server Load Balancers, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, LDAP, NFS, etc. -Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis -Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem, and work toward resolution - Strong desire to build, ability to multitask, sense of ownership and urgency. -Strong Unix/Linux skills and ability to script in Perl, Python, shell, C or C++ is highly desirable as is a strong understanding of load balancing and layer 4-7 technologies Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
