In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with infrastructure squads, architects, and the Chief Engineer to integrate third-party technologies into a modern, scalable, and secure Infrastructure-as-Code solution. Responsibilities: Design and implement automated solutions as part of an Infrastructure-as-Code strategy Collaborate on software-defined data centre builds using leading-edge tools and practices Create custom Ansible modules and collections to streamline network automation Integrate software components into a CI/CD pipeline, following a test-driven approach Troubleshoot complex development and networking issues alongside cross-functional teams Document systems, processes, and code to support scale and maintainability Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and process improvements Essential Must have requirements: Python expertise for scripting and automation in network environments Deep Ansible experience, including creating custom modules Strong grasp of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls, etc.) Experience with Terraform , Git , and CI/CD pipelines (esp. GitLab) Hands-on with Docker , Kubernetes , and cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Exposure to Software Defined Infrastructure and Infrastructure-as-Code Familiarity with network and security monitoring tools Comfortable working in Agile teams and secure project environments Full stack development experience is a plus
