Description We currently have an opportunity for an Azure Services Engineer located in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide. Join our Project Management Office and play a key role in enhancing and supporting Downer’s Works Management System (WMS), ensuring seamless integrations, optimal system performance, and compliance with security and operational standards. Reporting to Enterprise Application Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge Azure-based integrations and API services. Play a key role in enhancing a critical business system that directly impacts Downer’s service delivery. Gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle in a dynamic environment. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, driving best practices in cloud development and security. Mentor and upskill team members, shaping the future of Azure expertise within the organisation. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven ability to design, implement, and support event-driven integrations in a cloud environment. Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and best practices for cloud-based applications. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate, resolve, and prioritise technical issues. Experience in mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior team members.
