Communications and SCADA engineering manager required to lead the technical team to design and implement advanced technologies on a global scale, across the water infrastructure market. Description This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering manager with experience across wireless communications and SCADA systems to join this team, based in Melbourne on a full time basis. You will be expected to provide technical excellence across your discipline, whilst managing a team spread out across the globe. Your prioritisation skills will ensure key deadlines are met and you will ensure you provide the best collaboration across the wider organisation. Profile To be successful in this role, it is expected that you will have some of the following key requirements: Wireless Data Network Design (typically this would be come from the Telco Industry, but open to other areas such as defence or water infrastructure also) - key requirement Proficient in the use of EDX Software Radio Communications Site design - key requirement Deep knowledge of data protocols including DNP3, TCP/IP, and preferably Motorola MDLC Knowledge of PLC/RTU programming languages including Ladder Logic, CodeSys, C, Python Experience with the Motorola RTU hardware family Knowledge of SCADA software systems including OPC Strong people management Skills and experienced managing a team that is remote - key requirement Strong system diagnosis and troubleshooting skills Job Offer In return, you will be rewarded with a great opportunity to join a strong organisation, with fantastic career development opportunities and a clear defined path for future growth.
