Senior Full Stack Software Engineer — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

My client is growing, and so is their technology They are expanding into new markets and launching exciting product development initiatives. They are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help scale their platform, enhance their existing product stack, and drive the development of new solutions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of both greenfield projects and continuous improvements to their core platform. You will design, build, and optimize new features, improve system performance, and ensure the platform scales to meet increasing demand. Additionally, you will play a key role in maturing the software development lifecycle, refining software change and release management processes. This is a hands-on position where you will work across the full stack, contribute to technical decision-making, and help shape the future of innovative technology. What My Client Is Looking For: My client is seeking an experienced software engineer with 5–10 years in the industry, capable of building and maintaining high-quality applications in production environments. The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear estimations and progress updates. Proven experience managing and maintaining applications in production environments. Extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript in a professional setting. Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless or GCP Serverless (both preferred but not required). Proficiency in React—this is essential. Experience with React Native or Next.js is a plus but not required. A strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices. A commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. A focus on code reviews and adherence to coding standards. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with GitHub Actions (preferred but not required).
