About the role We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Graduate Mining Engineer with superior safety focus and ability to join our team of professionals in the Mining Department. As a graduate you will be provided with the support, training and mentoring to enhance your professional development, as well as the opportunity to complete 12 months of underground time. Core responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, the responsibilities of this role will include: · Optimisation of ore extraction through effective short and medium-term mine planning and scheduling. · T echnical support to the operations in relation to short and long term mine planning and related project tasks. · Mine ventilation surveys. About you To be successful in this role you will hold a degree or diploma Mining Engineering and have demonstrated practical work experience in Underground operations gained through participating in Student Vacation Programs or similar activities. You must be able to work both un-supervised and as part of a team whilst demonstrating strong communication and organisational skills enabling you to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
