We’re interested in hearing from people who can - Design and develop Microservices using NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript - Collaborate within the team to apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation. - Develop high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage. - Participate as member of software development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance. - Contribute to support and technical troubleshooting activity. Tech Skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team: - Git: Knowledge of version control using Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests. - React: Strong understanding of React principles, component lifecycle, hooks, and state management. - HTML5: Skilled in using HTML5 to create structured web page layouts. - CSS3: Ability to style web pages effectively using CSS3, including knowledge of responsive design. - UI Frameworks: Experience with Tailwind and MUI (or equivalent) UI frameworks desirable. - Node.js: Familiarity with Node.js for server-side logic and integration with front-end elements. - TypeScript: Proficiency in TypeScript for adding strong typing to JavaScript, enhancing code quality and maintainability. - Next.js: Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering, static site generation desirable. - Cross-Browser Development: Experience in ensuring compatibility across different web browsers and resolving compatibility issues. - RESTful APIs: Experience in consuming RESTful services and APIs within the front-end framework. - State Management Techniques: Familiarity with state management libraries and techniques, such as Redux and Context Hooks, to manage application state. - Familiarity with Modern Build Tools: Experience with build and bundling tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM scripts. - Accessibility and Web Standards: Knowledge of web accessibility standards and practices to create inclusive and accessible web applications. - Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced development environment.
