With our technical team encompassing more than 50% of our whole business, the investment into the our products and our people continues. - Leading a team of 6 full stack engineers, you will use your technical knowledge to help kick off major product enhancements and design decisions. - You will promote working in collaborative environments where ideas are converted into tangible outcomes. - You will mentor and support your team helping them to meet and where possible, exceed expectations whilst holding them and yourself to account. - In return for your efforts, you will help deliver a sustainable app, where we pride ourselves on shipping high quality product, quickly. About You - You have 8 years of software development experience, with a track record of notable achievements. - You have 3 years of experience leading an engineering team, mentoring developers, and guiding technical decisions. - You have experience building modern applications, working across frontend, backend, or full-stack development. - You are still hands-on with coding, spending at least 10-20% of your time writing and reviewing code. - You have expertise in at least one part of our tech stack—.NET/C# or JavaScript/TypeScript—and a strong grasp of the libraries, frameworks, and platforms you work with. - You’ve worked on large-scale, complex software platforms and have experience managing technical debt. - You take a strategic approach to system design, breaking down complex problems while balancing performance, cost, and simplicity. - You think beyond just writing code—you consider the business impact, collaborate with stakeholders, and make smart trade-offs to drive meaningful outcomes. - You’re analytical and decisive, using data-driven insights to navigate complexity, make sound judgments under pressure, and clearly communicate your reasoning. - You lead by example, actively contributing to design, implementation, and code reviews to ensure technical excellence. - Your CV is full of achievements you’re proud of, and you're always looking for ways to improve and innovate. - You’re a clear, concise communicator who values collaboration and constructive discussions. - You’re naturally curious, open to experimenting with new ideas, and see failures as opportunities to learn. - You take calculated risks and are comfortable making tough decisions to drive progress.
