Tendering Engineer — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

The Company Based in Brisbane and with global backing this supplier of packaged substations, kiosks, e-houses, LV/MV switchgear and transformers is experiencing continual growth and increasing demand for their products and solutions. All fabrication is completed in house to ensure compliance to Australian standards ahead of testing, installation and commissioning. The Role A key role as part of the Tendering and Project Engineering team you will need to understand the commercial and project delivery requirements that drive the tendering process. Consideration will also be given to candidates from a purely technical field or industrial electrical sales background, provided you have the right enthusiasm and willingness to learn the tendering process. Responsibilities Establish requirements and deliverables of the tender and undertake the tender proposal development process. Prepare technical offers such as single line diagrams, general arrangements, data sheet and technical qualifications. Act as the liaison between all parties to extract all information required to prepare comprehensive proposals. Coordinate and manage all associated documentation. Prepare engineering deliverable list and liaise with project execution team on the deliverable dates. Support project execution team during fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning. Skills and experience Degree qualified. or electrical trades. Experience in tendering, electrical design, site based electrical project engineering or industrial electrical sales. Knowledge of MV/HV power products, substations, transformers. Experience and understanding of the project delivery environment. Strong Excel and AutoCAD.
