Applications Engineer $140-160K Super Brisbane The Company Our client is a market leader worldwide specialising in piping solutions. They have been in business over 100 years and have recently broken into the Australian market as they navigate unprecedented growth. Responsibilities Engaging with clients & customers to gain a thorough understanding of customer needs and develop and provide perceptive and expert solutions to their requirements. Maintain and service existing relationships with customers & ensure clear lines of communication between all departments internally in order to meet the customer’s requirements. Ensure customer expectations are managed and met at all times. Provide engineering consulting support to the sales team, this includes investigating field installations as to product usage and performance. Conduct training sessions with new employees to educate them on the features of new products. Your Background/Experience Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an applications role with a focus on HVAC system design/mining/fire protection. Solid experience in engineering teams within an NPD environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of being able to build and maintain external customer relationships. Extensive experience in understanding customised solutions and the ability to engage with customers providing knowledgeable solutions to their requirements. What’s On Offer?
