As their Radar Team experiences rapid growth, we are actively seeking an experienced Radar Engineer with strong C++ development skills in Linux environments and expertise in real-time signal processing and/or GPU acceleration (CUDA) . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimise real-time radar signal processing algorithms in C++ on Linux platforms . Implement GPU acceleration (CUDA) for high-performance radar data processing. Work on multi-threaded, low-latency systems for radar applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radar software with hardware systems. Optimise performance, latency, and throughput of radar processing pipelines. Develop and maintain software documentation, tests, and validation procedures. Required Skills & Experience: Holding an active Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance. Willingness to be on site 3 days per week at DST Edinburgh . Strong C++ development skills in Linux environments (C++11/14/17 preferred). Experience in real-time signal processing for radar/sensor systems. Familiarity with GPU acceleration (CUDA/OpenCL) for high-performance computing. Knowledge of radar concepts (beamforming, pulse compression, Doppler processing, etc.). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar domain. Bonus to have (not mandatory): Experience with multi-threading, IPC, and low-latency optimisation. Proficiency in debugging and performance profiling (GDB, Valgrind, NVIDIA Nsight).
