See yourself in our team Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) is responsible for managing the Group’s relationships with major corporate and government clients and institutional investors, and provides a full range of capital raising, transactional and risk management products and services. Within IB&M technology our mission is to combine the next generation of technology, with leading banking and markets capabilities to help our clients succeed. We’re building empowered and autonomous engineering teams that are product focused and responsible for end-end delivery. We have formed an AI innovation team, led by our Chief Engineer, and are looking for a Software Engineer to join it. Working in the team: - You’ll contribute to ideation and direction-setting. - You’ll apply your skills in software engineering, data science, and machine learning to develop novel solutions to sophisticated needs in global financial markets – such as FX trading and sales. - You’ll help to design and develop a platform to curate data, extract features, develop and train agentic models, enable an agentic mesh, and operate with observability and control. - You’ll learn by doing and be involved in many aspects of the project – direction, planning, ideation, architecture, engineering, operations - more than is usual for such a role.
