About the Role: A client of ours is seeking a skilled Cloud Developer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code to take a lead role in deploying and supporting their AI platform, packaged in Docker containers and orchestrated via Kubernetes. As a SME for their internal platform, you will be instrumental in operationalising AI workloads at scale, optimising performance and security, and ensuring a seamless developer experience across environments. Key Responsibilities: Deploy, manage, and support a proprietary AI platform running in Docker containers, orchestrated using Kubernetes (AKS). Act as the technical SME for the AI platform – advising teams on usage, performance, security, scalability, and automation best practices. Design and implement scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure on Azure to support both general workloads and AI-specific environments. Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for containerized AI and application deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment configuration using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Integrate monitoring, logging, and observability for containerized services and AI workloads using tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Log Analytics. Collaborate with AI/ML teams, platform engineers, and software developers to enable efficient model deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management.
