About the Role: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into valuable business insights. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, models, and infrastructure to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Your work will support decision-making processes and help project teams and business-as-usual activities understand and use data effectively. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain data solutions on the Azure data platform. Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design robust and scalable data solutions. Implement and optimize data models, data stores, data integration, and data transformation using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and SQL. Implement data security controls, access controls, auditing, and monitoring to safeguard data. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to data flows, pipelines, and infrastructure. About You: You are a dedicated and experienced data engineer with a passion for designing and optimizing data solutions. You have a strong background in data integration, modelling, and warehousing, and you excel in using Azure data technologies. Your leadership skills enable you to mentor junior engineers and drive technical initiatives, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of data infrastructure. Experience in data engineering with expertise in data integration, cleansing, modelling, warehousing, and developing pipelines. Proficiency in Azure data technologies, including Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. Strong understanding of data modelling techniques, including 3NF and Kimball methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills. Required Qualification Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and or relevant qualifications.
