This division provides critical technical support across operations, helping develop innovative processes, equipment, and designs, while solving complex maintenance and operational challenges. Role Overview As an Electrical Engineer in this specialist team, your primary role is to offer expert consultation on rotating electrical machines. You'll play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, driving innovation, and mentoring upcoming engineering talent. Key Responsibilities Provide expert engineering consultation on Motors and Generators to various field operations including refineries, gas plants, and terminals. Contribute to the development of internal procedures and best practices in your area of expertise. Represent the organisation in global industry forums and standards committees when opportunities arise. Review and advise on capital project designs and attend technical review meetings internationally and domestically. Advocate for and help implement new technologies that improve productivity and profitability. Serve as a senior liaison with vendors, manufacturers, and design firms, offering authoritative advice and oversight. Peer-review technical documentation and assess third-party reports, project designs, and engineering standards. Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster knowledge transfer and technical excellence. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s or higher professional degree preferred). Professional Engineering license (PE or equivalent) is highly desirable. 20 years of industry experience, particularly in: High-voltage motor and generator sizing, construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Factory acceptance testing and performance verification. Proven track record in large-scale industrial projects and cross-functional technical reviews.
