Kinexus has partnered with Army HQ in a search for a communications software engineer contractor to join for a period of 12 months (plus up to 2 extensions) to work and support in advising Army on its digital network integration efforts. This role will involve you developing and maintaining a number of tools, standards and documentation aiming at improving Army network and communications capability. This role will be based out of Canberra full time and requires you to hold an NV1 security clearance or above. What is required of you: Over 2 years' experience in software development in mutliple programming languages, including C++. Experience in network programming including OMG DDS interfacesa and BSD sockets. Experience working in Defence and writing software documentation in a Defence environment. Experience in Defence systems engineering processes. What is on offer: A daily rate of between $800p/d to $1000p/d excl.
