Senior Cloud Engineer (Operations Specialist) — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

Aspirante is proud to partner with a major Queensland Government department to recruit a talented Cloud Engineer to help shape and support the cloud landscape across Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Dynamics 365 platforms. This is a hands-on technical role, perfect for someone who thrives in a high-availability environment and brings deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, and enterprise SaaS platforms. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure the secure, stable, and scalable delivery of cloud-based services. What You’ll Be Doing: Manage and monitor enterprise-grade Azure services, including virtual networks, compute, and storage. Administer and optimise hybrid environments using Azure-native tools. Support cloud resource governance, security policies, and performance tuning. Oversee Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management. Implement conditional access, MFA, SSO and user provisioning across integrated cloud apps. Work with stakeholders to ensure secure and compliant access to business systems. Collaborate on enhancements and deployments, ensuring platform reliability and uptime. Troubleshoot user and integration issues related to D365 and connected services. Contribute to service performance reporting and continual improvement planning. Work cross-functionally with vendors and technical teams to meet SLAs. Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base content. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in cloud engineering, particularly Microsoft Azure environments. Strong understanding of identity and access management using Entra ID / Azure AD. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments (CE, FO, or platform-level).
