Senior Node.js Engineer – Brisbane QLD – Node, Typescript, AWS / GCP Serverless, React - $140k Super – 1 Day P/W WHF. We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Node.js & TypeScript & React) to help scale their platform, evolve their product suite, and lead the development of new solutions. The Role As a senior engineer, you'll be deeply involved in both greenfield projects and the ongoing improvement of our existing systems. You'll work across the stack—primarily using Node.js and TypeScript—to design, build, and optimise new features, enhance performance, and ensure their platform scales to meet growing demand. You'll also contribute to maturing their development processes, including CI/CD pipelines, code quality practices, and release workflows. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise will shape the future of the platform and identity technology. About You You’re a self-motivated full-stack engineer with deep experience in Node.js, React and TypeScript. You enjoy building from the ground up as much as refining existing systems. You’re constantly learning, and you bring curiosity and creativity to your work. You take initiative, communicate clearly, and enjoy collaborating with others to ship high-quality software. You’re comfortable owning projects end-to-end, but you also know the value of teamwork and asking for help when needed. You love solving complex problems and thrive in a fast-paced, product-focused environment. Skills A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant qualifications. Proven experience managing and maintaining applications in production environments. Extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript in a professional setting. Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless or GCP Serverless (both preferred but not required). Proficiency in React—this is essential. Experience with React Native or Next.js is a bonus but not required. A focus on code reviews and adherence to coding standards. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with GitHub Actions (preferred but not required).
