The Role As a Network Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our vital network environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy high-quality network solutions that drive our business operations efficiently. Leverage your expertise in a challenging and rewarding role, ensuring our network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable. Key Responsibilities Design and implement new network solutions, enhance the efficiency of existing networks. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Analyse and identify hardware and network system faults, evaluate alternative solutions, determine and implement the solution process. Test and maintain the new networks, servers and computers to ensure optimal performance. Monitor network performance, provide ongoing troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality. Maintain comprehensive network documentation and generate regular performance reports. Provide technical support and conduct root cause analysis for network issues. What you need Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in computing or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. In-depth comprehension of network technologies including VLANs, VPNs, VMware, ownCloud and Group Policy. Advanced diagnosis skills of technical issues related to end-user hardware & software and network devices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
