Design Electrical Engineer - APAC Data centre client side APAC Electrical Design Engineer Location can be Sydney, Melbourne or Hong Kong Salary dependent on experience with a guide of $160-$180k super MCR are recruiting an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a rapidly growing data centre owner-operator to support their strategic expansion into APAC. The role is responsible for driving the standardisation of data centre designs, managing relationships with design consultants, coordinating with equipment suppliers and fostering innovation through technology development and R&D initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and standardise electrical system designs for hyperscale data centres. Collaborate with design consultants and internal teams to ensure compliance with international and local codes and client specifications. Support procurement by liaising with major equipment vendors and suppliers. Contribute to the innovation and continuous improvement of electrical systems and design practices. Support project delivery from design through to construction handover across multiple APAC sites. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Proven experience in electrical design for data centres, critical infrastructure, or large-scale critical projects. Familiarity with APAC electrical standards and construction practices preferred. Strong technical, project coordination, and communication skills. Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
