Brisbane, Gold Coast or NQ project based – project dependent Major TMR Infrastructure projects Leading mid-tier Civil Contractor with strong presence in the industry This favorable national civil contractor is a leading contractor who work within resources, local authorities and main roads projects across Australia. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contactor is experienced across multiple disciplines including roads, earthworks, drainage and concrete structures. They have a number of major TMR/BCC roadwork projects valued anywhere between $50M - $400M in SEQ and NQ. They are currently looking to secure a CQR (Client Quality Representative) or Quality Engineer with strong quality assurance management experience on TMR projects. This CQR/Quality Engineer will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects, become a part of the delivery team, and work closely with the client. Scope of works include earthworks, drainage, services, structures and major road works. To be successful you must have a minimum of 3 years civil construction experience, ideally across main roads projects for a contractor in similar conditions. Reporting to the Quality Manager your responsibilities will include: Quality Assurance management, ensuring the project is operating in compliance with ISO 9001 Maintaining strong relationships with the client, subcontractors, and stakeholders Monitor and close out work lot documentation and ensure compliance to the project specifications and standards Contribute to and review documentation, including ITPs and NCR’s Optimise the use of project resources including materials and equipment Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met in line with Government legislations To be successful you must have a proven track record of managing quality assurance across large scale DTMR projects with a principal civil contractor. The successful individual must have at least 3 years civil construction experience including 1 - 2 years on main roads / TMR large scale projects. This role will either start locally in their Brisbane offices, or head to Gold Coast or North QLD projects (depending on project location).
