Linux Systems Engineer — Denistone West, Ryde Area

The tech lead engineer within IT Team will successfully set-up, migrate and deliver assigned applications to the agreed scope, timeline, and quality. The engineer, together with the developers / other Infra team, Business Owner, will ensure the solutions being delivered meet the business requirements, will improve and benefit the business. More specifically the responsibilities include. General Requirements 5 years of overall experience in the infrastructure or system engineering domain. Excellent experience in some of Linux fundamentals, Apache, tomcat, nginx webserver, Javascript, k8s. Experience in administration for deploying applications to various platform like Docker, Kubernetes, EKS. Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline. Good understanding on API Management tool such as APIGEE. Experience supporting a multi-tiered web environment. Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as AWS etc. Participate in ongoing design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and tools across our cloud stack. Work closely with Development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality. Experience/good knowledge of an industry standard change management process. Excellent experience in some of Network fundamentals and good understanding of SSL, DNS, LB, ALB etc. Enjoys working in fast pace ever changing work environment. Experience in at least one end-user ticket management system such as SNOW. Excellent communication and writing skills. Possesses strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work closely with stakeholders across the organization. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Possesses solid planning, problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
