The position requires relevant Diploma level qualifications and at least two years of employment experience in a similar occupation. Duties include: Assembling, installing, and repairing electrical and electronic systems and prototypes to meet regulations. Inspecting and testing electrical systems and equipment for quality control and performance. Evaluating and designing electrical systems and control equipment based on blueprints and schematics. Visiting sites where systems are made or used to observe conditions affecting design. Working under the supervision of an electrical engineer. Estimating the cost of the materials, tools, and electrical equipment for each installation project. Work closely with assembly teams. Work among side team leaders to review and refine work practices to improve efficiency. Maintain a safe workplace and ensure all tasks adhere to OHS requirements.
