Specialising in custom homes, duplexes, knock-down rebuilds, and extensions, the company is known for its commitment to craftsmanship, transparency, and customer satisfaction. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Engineering Technologist to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience in residential construction processes, project planning, and technical site coordination, with a passion for delivering bespoke homes and supporting end-to-end construction activities. Responsibilities include: Apply engineering principles and technologies to assist in the planning, development, and execution of residential and commercial building projects. Evaluate and interpret building plans and specifications to ensure alignment with design intent and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems within project designs. Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify and resolve design or construction issues. Prepare and review technical documentation, including compliance reports, engineering drawings, and construction schedules. Assist with performance testing, quality assurance, and risk analysis throughout various project stages. Support continuous improvement in construction practices by researching new materials, methods, and technologies. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant bachelor’s degree Minimum of 3 years’ experience Strong understanding of Australian residential building codes and standards. Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications accurately. Familiarity with CAD tools and site management processes. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. Experience working in a fast-paced, quality-driven construction environment. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. Superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
