The Role Raytheon Australia are seeking a skilled Senior or Principal Systems Engineer to support the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare. You will join the experienced delivery team working: On the development, deployment and support of a Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare System to the ADF consisting of complex hardware and software solutions. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled professionals. Based at our cutting-edge Centre for Joint Integration in Mawson Lakes, Adelaide. Skills, Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) Demonstrable Design Definition, Design Development, Integration and Verification experience in one or more of the following engineering fields: Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Communication, Software and/or Combat/RF Systems. High level of computer literacy coupled with strong Microsoft Office application skills. Excellent written and oral communications skills essential. Use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Previous exposure to Defence Systems Engineering processes and tools desirable (e.g. DOORS). Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, including the use of modelling tools (e.g. Cameo) is highly desirable Experience in a Defence related industry is highly desirable.
