Graduate Business Analyst - Engineering — The Rocks, Sydney

An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join Rex in the full-time role of Graduate Business Analyst, Engineering located at our Sydney Head Office in Mascot. Key Position Responsibilities: Data Review and Analysis: Analyse and interpret business processes, procedures and practices within Company Engineering and Accounting systems and applications Process Improvement: Identifies and evaluates inefficiencies of existing business practices to drive improvement. Make recommendations for data migration strategies Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings/trends and recommendations to stakeholders. Create reports from relevant systems that demonstrate the connection between them and the data transfer analysis. Create and update user documentation and maintain the knowledge database. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and accounting, to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency. Selection Criteria: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics or Business preferable or engineering Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, visualisation tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI) Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Knowledge: Background in engineering and accounting is highly desirable.
