Network Engineer — South Yarra, Stonnington Area

We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to join a well known client in the consulting space. You will have a strong background in traditional network engineering and hands-on experience in cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems across both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring high performance and security. Location: Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide Contract Duration: 16th June 2025 to 30th August 2025 Hourly Rate: $100 per hour Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy network solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments. Implement and manage virtual networks, VPN gateways, and Azure ExpressRoute Cloud Network Engineering: Design and implement cloud-based network solutions using Azure cloud platforms. Optimize cloud network architectures for secure and efficient data flow Zerto Site Pairing Network Solutions: Deploy Zerto Site Pairing networking solutions to support site recovery and migration approaches Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce network security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Azure VMware Solution (AVS): Assist with the deployment and management of Azure VMware Solution environments and provide support for related network configurations and integrations Documentation and Collaboration: Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Network Engineer with strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls Experience with Zerto Site Pairing technologies and network solutions Cloud network engineering experience, especially with Azure Familiarity with Azure VMware Solution (AVS) is a plus Strong expertise in both traditional and cloud network design and troubleshooting In-depth knowledge of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Familiarity with network security best practices and tools Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or similar certifications are preferred Please apply today for more information.
