The role: Unyte are now on the hunt for a Project Engineer to join our busy team in Melbourne. With a diverse portfolio of projects incoming, we have some unique opportunities for experienced Project Engineers from a self-perform background who have delivered earthworks, roads and other major & minor civil packages. Your impact: As you embed yourself in the team, your experience will showcase through engineered solutions, budgets met, and timely project delivery with zero harm. Your every day: Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications. Participating in monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete. Leading and supporting a strong safety culture. Managing the construction program and implementing mitigating measures to keep the program on track. Demonstrating financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions. Who are you? Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent. 4 years relevant civil construction experience. Have a sound understanding of typical construction specifications used in the Australian construction industry. Excellent stakeholder management experience. Driver's license and own transport.
