Data Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

A high-profile organisation based in Sydney CBD is undertaking a number of key projects and programs of work to uplift their technical environment and improve how data is managed and utilised by the business. As a result, we're urgently looking to engage an experienced Data Engineer to support a key initiative based on their new cloud based data warehouse platform. Your role as the Data Engineer will be to support business and data analytics team to migrate their annual reports from R code to SQL / Python in their new Databricks Data Intelligence platform. To be successful in this role, w e're looking for a strong blend of the following skills / experience: Ability to convert code from R or other programming languages into SQL / Python Strong programming ability in SQL / Python Experience working with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Databricks / Snowflake Ability to work with business stakeholders to create efficiencies and simplify code where appropriate What's On Offer This is an exciting and rewarding role for a technical Data Engineer that is keen to further their career in a high-profile enterprise organisation that supports the community of NSW.
