Network Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our talented team for a short-term migration project. In this role, you will play a crucial part in migrating & deploying systems into our ecosystem. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, compliancy, security, and scalability of the systems being migrated. Key responsibilities: Plan & Implement network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls. Interrogate, interpret & merge firewall rules between hardware vendors. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Ability to meet deadlines within a project. Technologies: Firewalls (Palo Alto) Switching (Aruba HP) Aruba Central / ClearPass Azure Cloud SolarWinds Qualifications Networking certification or industry experience Working knowledge of scripting with PowerShell. Ability to configure and troubleshoot network (LAN / WAN/WLAN) issues. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in the Information Technology Industry.
