Senior Mobile Transmission Engineer Your new company A leading telecommunications provider focused on delivering robust and scalable network solutions. Your new role As a Mobile Transmission Engineer, you will be responsible for data analysis, planning, implementation, and management of transmission links for the access network. You will also coordinate with third-party vendors and suppliers daily and assist with annual transmission capacity planning to align with long-term business strategies. What you'll need to succeed Develop and maintain documentation for any backhaul/fronthaul services, including network diagrams, configuration files, and vendor agreements Collaborate with the internal Planning & Solution team, SDP (Site Detailed Planning) team and Program delivery team to understand the business needs and requirements of transmission services. Collaborate with external functions to integrate transmission services with various network infrastructure. Keep track of the use of the transmission links Communicate with third-party vendors and suppliers for ordering or cancellation of the services as per requirement and in a timely manner Conduct regular data audits and assessments of transmission services to ensure data integrity and operating efficiency Stay informed about the changes to transmission products from third-party vendors Assist with vendor governance and in-flight order tracking Familiar with various transmission technologies and transport network infrastructure such as IP and optical DWDM Proven experience in managing third-party transmission services or in a similar role Excellent communication and vendor management skills Proficiency in network data analysis Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
